It’s Time…To Get Healthy

So…I have great intentions to eat better, go to the gym and just get healthy but it never seems to happen and it’s getting really frustrating now! I’ll eat well for a few days of the week and then end up giving into temptation and I never seem to “have” time to go to the gym – a few years ago I was the complete opposite. I know it’s all mind over matter and if I really want to make changes in and to my life I can and will, so that is exactly what I plan to do.

My hair isn’t as shiny as it used to be, my skin doesn’t have the glow it used to have and I have become a little spotty! Oh and the main thing…my favourite clothes don’t fit anymore and it depresses me to buy new ones at the moment!

I sound like a right barrel of laughs at the mo don’t I…NOT!!! So now it’s time to actually DO as I say, with no excuses!

I’m definitely not going to go down the route of starving myself because 1) we know that’s the most unhealthiest thing you can do and 2) I know I could never starve myself!

I’m thinking of making fresh juices in the mornings for breakfast (I used to do this all the time and felt amazing for it), cutting out sugar, replacing tea with herbal teas like green tea or camomile tea, reducing bread from my diet (not that I really eat it much), have my 5 a day but more veg than fruit as fruit still has sugar in it. As I learn new ideas and recipes I’ll post them on here for you all to use and share.

It would be fun and great if anyone wants to join me on this lifestyle change and journey, we can encourage and help each other along the way.

It’s my birthday (whoop whoop) on Saturday so I want to start tomorrow and get into it before then, so here goes, I’ve put it out there for the world to see!!! Wish me luck!!!

One thing to remember… this is NOT a diet but a lifestyle change!
